Dsniff 2.4 for the 770

so here is dsniff for the 770. Warning the package is BIG.

Nokia 770 Monitor Mode is working!

just read it on the developer list and tried it right away, and yes it works. So since firmware 51-13 (should be the latest) we have working monitor mode.

Since you need the Linux wireless tools to set monitor mode (iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor) and the 770 comes without them I complied and packed them. Download them here.

New GKHDAPS

here is a newer version of GKHDAPS a GKrellM plugin for the Harddisk Active Protection System (hdaps) that comes with newer ThinkPads. It now supports both temperature monitors.

The reason why I update now simply is that hdaps seems to work properly now (Kernel 2.6.15.2) before I had problems with really wired kernel crashes.

Have fun!

BSS - Bluetooth Stack Smasher (a L2CAP fuzzer)

Pierre Betouin wrote this nice little L2CAP fuzzer based on my psm_scan (l2cap port scanner). He also already discovered bugs in several phones with it.

The tool can be found at: www.secuobs.com

nice work!

BT Audit 0.1.1

so I just updated bt_audit my Bluetooth port scanner suite. I actually just applied a patch from Adam Laurie to disconnect the underlying ACL after each RFCOMM connection, I just added an option to switch in on and off.

ICQ Buggers

I the last two weeks random people started IMing me on ICQ for no reason. I don't know how they got my number since I don't have it on the web - my guess is that they randomly chose a number. This is really annoying but fortunately you can just block them. I really hope this is not getting worse.

Is this a common thing to happen?
